Lionheart is great game but I would like to see new levels together with new graphics that matched high resolution.Since you added level editor maybe some people make new levels.

Wow, there are a lot of dust on this page

For people who still interested by my project, I just released a Vista&Seven compatible release (also working in 64bits).

You can find it on my website: http://www.b3dgs.com/ (choose your language first)

I can't promise anything ... but perhaps in a nearby future, there will be something interesting around Lionheart ...

Humm ...
What are your values in Data/config.ini ?

Something like this:
0
0
640
480
32
1
0
0
1
-993
996
-993
996

Do you have values like this ?
-993
996
-993
996

This is the joypad axis range value.
Try to change them manually.

Config after analog stick calibration:

0
0
800
600
32
1
0
1
1
-1000
962
-961
944
3
1
203
205
200
208
44
45

Works: left, X as fire and A as jump

X axis, after change 962 to 1000, RIGHT works randomly!?

Y axis, after change to -1000 and 1000, DOWN have same problem as RIGHT, but UP finally works so i'll try to change this a few time and maybe i can finally play this game

Strange.

It may be a stick recognition problem.... analogue ? Arrows ?

Try with symmetric values:

-944
962
-962
944

Or:
-944
961
-961
944

If it won't work, I will try another way to make it work without having those values right.

Only this setup works (down and right randomly interrupt):
-1000
1000
-1000
1000

This is on analog stick, dpad isn't recognized.

I have this driver and all other games (modern, emulators, remakes) works without problem.

Why are there no improvements that take advantage of today's technology?

Hello there

Nothing special, just a quick message in order to inform you I'm working on a Java version of Lionheart.

I also released the sources (for curious people), with its javadoc, using Netbeans 6.1.1

Everything is available here: http://www.b3dgs.com/v3/en_lionheart_remake.php

Hello,

... no, no, my work on Lionheart is not finished !
There are so many things to make it perfect ...

I just finished to implement a raster modification, as on the original one:
http://www.b3dgs.com/v5/projects/lio...ter_filter.png

I also added a bilinear.
As you can see, it is in 16/9 here. It supports 4/3, 16/9, 16/10 (perhaps 5/4 ?)

A bit older (2 weeks lol): http://www.b3dgs.com/v5/projects/lio...java/water.png
You can see here the water effect in action (it will be better on a video ...)

I have more than 400 colours on screen now (instead of about 200 before)

And the project page: http://www.b3dgs.com/v5/page.php?lan...onheart_remake

It is my Java remake (in progress ...), I will continue to inform you about changes.

See ya

Héhé, out of topic; but here some infos:
I'm working on the level editor (inspired by Warcraft III World Edit).
It allows to edit any units (from Warcraft, or another game, it just needs frame based sprite), set their animations (with key frames, speed ...), set their attributes (life, mana ...), their price (gold, wood ...);
Data are organized using a tree (sort by category [Unit, Building ..], and race [Ork, Human, Neutral ..]).

Also, I'm working on Lionheart level editor (currently); I first want to finish this one. It has to be really easy to use, and screen resolution independent (dynamic resize/placement).

I will post some screens when it will be enough interesting
