What do you think about this display configuration ?

This is a capture of a display configuration. What do you think about that ?
Don't forget to zoom for a perfect display of scanline.

It was supposed to be in Ultimate Amiga Configurations 2018 but since closure of Ultimate Amiga France and Ultimate Creative, the project is cancelled.

I don't have any Amiga and I can't make comparison with an orignal monitor from the 108x serie.

Scanlines are not this marked on real monitors.
This is usually my #1 gripe with software generated scanlines, they either look too dark or too light.
There's also other artifactions present on a monitor.

Convincing scanline emulation needs to be more than just "make every other line black". Each pixel should bleed both horizontally and vertically depending on its brightness - in bright areas the scanlines should be thinner than in dark areas.

This is a random image I found online which sort of demonstrates this (quite zoomed in):

Very interesting. I reproduced the noise effect (of course not visible on my capture) but i never thought about the vertical effect.

For me it's essential to emulate with scanlines because graphics are just horrible without.

It's also depends on your TV and connection. Composite is more blurry, has mostly more bloom than RGB.

Amiga 1200+Sony Trinitron CRT with RGB connection.

That's true. No problem for good shaders though. (FS-UAE/non linear scanlines)
