Problem trying to install Storm C
I've installed a few C editors and compilers - including GCC, Dice, Hisoft C++ and now would like to try Storm C before deciding on the final one to use to advance my knowledge of C with.
I've grabbed the free version of Storm C off the net but when I try and install it - it asks for AmigaFuture@60 and won't progress without it. Is there a legal version of this kicking around or somewhere cheap to buy it? I don't want to spend a fortune because it may not be the final choice I make and then would be a waste of cash Dave G |

I don't understand, it's asking for an email address? I don't recall this.

I found another install script hidden away in the files early this morning that I'm now deciphering. It may hold the answer for me. Dave G |

I assume that it would be wanting Amiga Future magazine cover CD #60.

Deciphered the script and found the problem of installation.
A directory in the archive needed renaming!! The place I wanted to put StormC required creating first and then assigning before starting the hidden script. A few files left to rename on the new installation now and then I should be able to test it out. Dave G |

I thought Version 3 was but I only found out the other day that Version 4 is still being sold I've actually managed to get it installed now - I just needed to make a couple of changes in the script and file names. Dave G |
