Games only load once and then black screen A1200AGA

Hi all,

Any one know know why games might load and run and then wont load again after rebooting the A1200?

Been hunting around the forum and web but cant find someone with similar experience. Its an A1200 AGA 020 3.0 with 8MB fast ram.

For example I was having a good blast on Banshee then exited the game and turned off the miggy. A few days later I boot up and click on Banshee and it just black screens and does nothing. This also happened with 1943. Dizzy yolk folk. Pretty much any game I load it does this.

Any ideas?

what about booting the same games from whdload? does that work?

DAft question, were the disks write protected? Could be a bootblock virus?

I double click icon from ScalOS. They are all WHDLoad games on a CF card in the miggy.

They are WHDLoad games on a CF card.
The DF0 does work and is in the boot sequence, next is the CF Card as HD.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. A situation I dont understand, but using WHDLoad the games dont load. Using iGames the games, some of the games load but install to HD first prior to loading.

This also seemed to make the previoys method of clicking on an icon in Scalos work. So no idea what is going on. Using CLI from Scalos or as bootup sometimes works.
