Same thing for me.

It seems it is inspired by a Belgian comics (I had supposed it did judging from the graphic style and the name) but I have never ever heard of it.

The series of comics is mentioned in the French Wikipedia entry of the author but there is no dedicated page for the series:
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raoul_Cauvin

I will investigate a bit more and then update the HOL entry accordingly.

This one even worked on the game: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis-Michel_Carpentier

Publisher of the comic: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casterman

Thanks, especially the last link since there is a scanned page.
I confirm that I never saw this comics before. Next time I am in town, I'll try to check in a comics library if they have some issues (or just to test if the sellers know the series)

Confirming that it is indeed based on the comics:

"D'après la bande dessinée de..." -> "Based upon the comic book by..."

Therefore I added Origin - comics.

I also changed the category (previously Unknown) to "Adventure - Fetch Object to Solve Task" because the creature on your right at the beginning of the game is requiring some objects.
I have only played a few minutes though, so perhaps the gameplay changes later. Whoever goes further feel free to tell us if that is the case so we can change that part.

This evening I was in town so I went to a very important comics book shops (it is directly related to Glenat, one of the major comics publisher in France).

The sellers didn't manage to find anything.

Which means that the comics are no longer published (and probably never will be again) and that there is probably no issues available for libraries.

So the only opportunities to see one of the comics would be to find one on the second-hand market or to check the city libraries (some of them have a large comics section, especially for Franco-Belgian comics).
