Keyboard connector
I got a 1200 off ebay the other day and it had an external keyboard attached. Im wanting to connect the original keyboard back, but the ribbon cable is too thin to fit in the connector. Is there meant to be something on the end of the ribbon so it attaches properly? Or has the previous owner widened the gap when he has attached a connector for a din socket for the external keyboard? Cheers

There should be a clip on top of the connector that lifts to release the ribbon and lowers to grasp it.

Ah right, havent got one, so that would explain why they used an external keyboard. Can you buy them?
