Forgot to mention a few more reasons to why using real floppies or floppy emulators over whdload (or have all options) is that far from all games/demos/software has been converted into whdload slaves and that quite a few of the whdload games has bugs. Bugs will also differ between certain accelerators and systems. Sensible World Of Soccer is a very good example of a popular game never been fixed completely for whdload. So there are still very good reasons for using either real floppy disks/floppy emulator or both.

Sadly, as both my Amiga 600's are broken I only use emulated floppies these days for Amiga-related activities.
We don't use floppy disks at work either (to transfer data from instruments to the main network), as we either use USB memory sticks or intermediate network drives (for improved security and speed). |
