Candy Puzzle Playable on CD32 and emulator for first time!

Thought this deserved a news thread as not only is it a new game to play for the first time , see this thread for the details http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=16081 but its a great clone of Puzzle Bobble toboot!

Thanks to Toni Wilen and DamienD who worked out how to crack the original games need for its jamma adaptor board.

The game now works with the CD32 Joypad to insert coins and start the game.

Thanks to Earok who worked out the button mappings;

RED: Start/Fire (Player 1 or 2 depending on joypad)
BLUE: Exit settings menu
FORWARD: Insert coin

DamienD has uploaded the game to here
And in the longterm you can access it on the EAB File Server under: /Commodore_Amiga/CD/CD32

Great work everyone involved!

I quickly knocked up a cover for it;

Thank you Amigajay, compliments a beautiful game, astonished question, with which software the ISO was created?

Not me, Toni and DamienD did the work, I don't think they rebuilt the ISO, just changed the hex codes so the CD32 joypad could be read as normal (unless I missed something guys?)

Nope, you didn't miss anything

Toni did all the hard work and provided detailed instructions on how to patch the "Cubo CD32" image in order to get it working on a "CD32"

I just revived an old thread and followed the above, so no credit needed for me really

Puf... I don't have the WinUAE config now in my PC. Could someone pass me one for the CD32 please?

Edit: Oh, I forgot about the Quickstart option. Forget about my request-.

From looking at the SendSpace downloads for "Candy Puzzle":

...if only someone could work out how to patch the only other Cubo CD32 game worth playing: "Harem Challenge"

Yes, it requires a CD32 controller to be setup.

...I used to have difficulty with this also; see this thread

I don't think there currently is... but I'd imagine it's possible for someone who knows what they are doing.

I just played around:

... Mounting the image in WinUAE.
... Copying files to my Classic Workbench Lite 3.1 .HDF.
... Adjusting the S/Startup-Sequence.

Could load the game etc.

From playing around I even got "Lucky Five" to load from HDF:
