@gulliver: I would like to report that this did not fix my problem. I created a folder, opened it (seems fine). Then, I closed that drawer and when I re-clicked the folder icon again, I get a small dot like icon and the machine hangs, a moment later the screen inverts and reboots to a guru meditation. Forgot to note the number of guru meditation.

Switched back to standard icons and world becomes a safer place. Anything I can do to help you figure this out?

Indeed, there seems to be a conflict with the delayed loading of the selected icon image.

I will try to fix that ASAP.

Sorry to sound stupid, but where can I get it from? Searched here and on aminet.net and I only found icon.library 46.4.359...

I tried it on WinUAE and it seems to work correctly now, will update my actual A500 when I get home later tonight but can safely say this seems to work well now. Thanks for your assistance.

You have found very nice iconset

I'm very pleased to over all config of BetterWB, it is a best possible prenistalled for low spec amigas.

Happy to report I've updated my A500 with icon.library 46.4.363 and it's now working as expected. Seems to have a speedup as well, not sure if I'm dreaming but it sure feels that way!

Hi all,

I am looking to use a 16GB CF card with Kipper2k's A508 and was wondering if I can use PFS3-aio which comes with BetterWB? The plan is to create a 512MB FFS partition and install WB 3.1 and BWB 3.6 before I partition and format the rest of the CF card with PFS3-aio. Has anybody done this before? Anything I need to know beforehand? Thanks in advance...

It is possible. I did it in the past without problems.

Confirm you did this with the a508? Or you're saying the scsi.device from bwb 3.6 can handle > 4gb?

Can I suggest you add FreeWheel from Aminet to BetterWB? Let users decide if they want to use it by changing the WBstartup.

I can only confirm it on A1200 OS3.1 FastATA. --> Not using the full size of a HD and later (when I needed it) make a new partition. I don`t know a508.

You know, it is hard to keep up with PeterK´s work on icon.library. He is restless

And with these new changes my alpha 3.8 update, seems to never cease to come to a release candidate.

If anyone is curious to know, when I used WB 3.1 with BetterWB 3.6 and PFS3-aio, I can format the CF card on my Amiga 500 with Kipper2k's A508 (8MB Fast RAM and CF-IDE interface) up to 8GB. Even though I used a 16GB CF card but the rest of the card automagically disappeared.

Will I get better results in an Amiga 1200? Is the a hardware limitation or a scsi.device limitation?
