Thanks, Heavy Stylus!
I browsed the magazine in my local newsagent on Thursday, but didn't buy it. I completely missed that article! |

BTW, HS, as I suggested in the other thread... KillAGA and JST may also be worth a try if you're not getting satisfactory results. I'm pretty sure WHDLoad isn't the answer to EVERY game out there (obviously it is if the game is NDOS and no JST loader exists for it, but you know what I mean!).
I should also point you out to Dr Zarkov's still-active webpage and the various HD loaders there. I don't know how much friendlier they'd be on a CD³², but I thought I'd help out somehow! |

I'll give JST a try, but as stated previously - Fly Harder SE uses the files from the original CD, so it looks as though this is a bug that was in the retail CD32 version.

Fly Harder CD32 SE is now officially released, complete with enhanced controls, bug fixed audio and highscores saved to the CD32 NVRAM

Ah balls. I've written VRAM everywhere. It's NVRAM isn't it? Time to make some corrections methinks...

Yeah it's NVRAM which stands for Non Volatile Ram (VRAM would stand for Video Ram).
Also you wrote "blue" button here: http://www.rgcd.co.uk/cd32/flyharderse_front.png |

You do realise you've made the 'VRAM' version a rare collector's item now?

It's probably a good thing that I've taken a step back from creating new discs as it's given me a chance to re-create my early ones and improve them using better methods. I've also decided to redo some of the covers I'm not happy with. I'll be busy with this for a bit now (and I've got the graphics for an Atari ST game to finish by next week), so I won't be posting here for a while. Note to moderators - please can this thread be moved elsewhere? Last edited by Heavy Stylus; 13 May 2009 at 10:03. |

I've now updated Battle Squadron to include Hybris, and have created a new cover and properly credited menu screen.
I've also redone the Cardiaxx boot sequence with StingRay's 'waitfire' command. Last edited by Heavy Stylus; 17 May 2009 at 17:48. |

Isn't Cardixx more an Electronic Zoo game than Team 17 really? =P
(Oh noes, I've potentially caused yet another collector's item to be born!) |

This WHDLoad version uses the slightly modified Team 17 Re-release.

I'm slowly getting there... only a few more discs to update before the production line can start running again
This morning's update: Watchtower, with new cover art. And the same treatment for Quasar Wars: Last edited by Heavy Stylus; 18 May 2009 at 11:49. |
