This is something that I've been wanting to tackle for a while now, but been busy with other stuff...

It always saddened me that the latest demo version of Stalker only had the following as a title screen

So tonight I took matters into my own hands and produced the ultimate "Stalker v0.788" disk which:

Displays this title screenshot (from v0.64) first:

Waits 5 seconds and then displays this title screenshot next (from v0.24):

Waits 5 seconds and then starts the game.

This wasn't an easy task as there was no disk space left; probably why the nice title screenshots were missing from v0.788 in the first place...

I had to undertake the following:

Get the non-watermarked screenshots from the HOL team.
Convert down without loosing quality and then save as .IFFs.
Write a script to display the images via "ShowIFF".
Compress one of the data files so that everything fits on disk.

Anyway, you will find the created disk in The Zone! for all to enjoy

"StalkerDisk0.778.adf" has a read / write error though, but there's a non-corrupt disk on the EAB File Server: Stalker_v0.778.zip

Also, interesting instructions in v0.24:

Another thing that's interesting is that all versions run fine on an "A500 / 1.3 ROM / OCS / 512KB Chip + 512KB Slow RAM" configuration

...except for v0.778; this only works when using a standard AGA configuration.
