Yes I sure did. To no avail. Actually it's the first thing I investigated as it's the one causing the least hassle.

the switch connect exram signal from gary to ground, verify if exram is 5 volt on connector at pin 32 of a500 then force to gnd

p.s.
i have a501 amram-x iss.2 complete of ic and other compnents

Ah, er... how do I do this? Plug the expansion card, lit the Amiga and the use multimeter to check pin 32? Where exactly should I put each meter probe? One on pin and one on ground?

pin 32 on amram is connect with central of switch and a pin 16 on ram (enable)

on multimeter one pin on ground (any connector audio video or serial) and the pther pin on pin 32 of expansion.

i look the your amram and the acid of battery have interrupt ground to switch and battery under color purple, connect with a wire the central of switch to ground for test
