Joystick-Mapping in Arrow keys doesn't work on my MacBook Air

Hi,
I am new to this forum.

I am using this great Amiga emulator Version fs-uae 2.2.3
on my iMac and now I installed it on my MacBook Air.

Unfortunately the default setting for the arrow keys as joystick emulation doesn't work on my MacBook Air (on my iMac it works perfectly).

What can I do?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

Can you think of any differences between the computers which can explain the problem? For example some kind of installed key mapping software, or different keyboard layouts...

It is also a good idea to upload Documents/FS-UAE/Logs/FS-UAE.log.txt (from the computer with the problem) so I can check for any explanation within.

Hi!

No, there is NO key mapping software neither on my iMac nor on the MacBook Ait.
The MacBook Air hasn't got a right Ctrl or a right Alt key.

I attached the log-file as you requested!

Thanks,
Michael

I don't see anything peculiar in the log file, and don't have any clever ideas (I have neither heard of anyone having a similar problem).

So time for some "stupid questions":
1. Do the cursor keys work in other applications?
2. Do the cursor keys work to navigate the "F12 menu" in FS-UAE?
3. Are you sure the cursor keys don't work? It isn't just that fire does not work (because of lack of right alt/ctrl)?. Have you tried the option in FS-UAE Launcher settings to swap left and right ctrl keys?

I tried this an NOW the cursor keys works …
Don't know why, but now it's fine and I can play Nebulus on my laptop ;-)

Thanks,
Michael
