Looking for a Monitor lead for a 1084

Hi,

I'm looking for a Monitor lead for a 1084 the type that connects to the 23pin RGB output on the Miggy and connects to the round 8 pin socket on the Monitor. The cable I have (which I though was the right one grr) has 6 pins.

Happy to trade the above mentioned cable or pay cash/paypal/beer/4 Guinea Pigs of questionable quality.

Cheers,

Steve.

I`ll have a look when I am in the loft later this week. May have something, although if push comes to shove I think I still have a spare 1084 with attached lead up there

Hey Steve,

Sorry, mate, but I've only just seen this thread.

I thought for a minute that the lead you sold me recently was one like this. That lead has the round 8 pin plug on it alright, but it has three AV phono plugs on the other end!

I hope you can get the lead you want, but if not, you're welcome to take this one and try to convert it using the 23 pin D-type from your 6 pin cable.

Edit: I can't believe how many variations there are of monitor cables for the Amiga!

Thanks for thinking of me mate

Yep theres a shocking amount of cables and indeed variations of the 1084 its self, I always thought my 1084 had the 6pin socket but it has a scart instead. (I think it was either or on the 1084) And another setup for the 1084s

Right now I'm using one scart on my Tower and another on my Desktop A1200 so the A600 has to make do with Composhite for now lol, but actually on the 1084 its not too bad.

I've got a couple of scart leads with no audio so maybe I can bodge something with those (not currently working)

Steve.

I had this very cable you are looking for. It's very well taken care of, my monitor was of the same type
If you need it I can ship it from Argentina. Will cost a bit more and take a while but it is indeed the rarest type of cable and I was about to shove it on an auction site.

Send me a PM if you are interested.

Hi it wasn't the one and its not a 9pin I'm after its the 8pin round type.

I'll probably give up as the onky one I've ever seen was composite to 8pin, never RGB so it may not even exist!

That sounds like the one you sold me. Having thought about it, I'm sure it couldn't be converted to RGB input without some serious butchery!

Yeah thats the one, I'll give up on this lol, the Composhite is actually fine gaming on the 1084 anyway and thats what I'm using it for

YOu have to get an Amiga rgB to SCART lead my friend, as I said in PMs. The lead you are looking for is for TTL RGB, not for Analog RGB.
