Commodore 1950 monitor

hi All,

I have this one in the garage. sad fate for it, as I really wanted to have it and once got the chance to buy. But had too short period of time to enjoy. The 15Khz and 31Khz mode had too different brightness, and I thought it will be a good idea to tune them for better functionality, so I started to solve it with removing the backside plastic and searched for the needed internal gadgets to play with them. First i became quite happy as found some very good settings, but suddenly after a flash it became dark and never worked again. Yeah, I was not cautios enough. Anyone ever tried to fix a monitor like this, and had success, or any circuitry diagrams available anywhere? I still not gave up to use it again, but have no clue where to start. moved it to an electrician who is familiar with TV-s and other devices, but when he opened up this monitor, just looked to me as adviceless, like a chinese when first sees a hungarian alphabet...

On the other hand if it's completely dead, I can offer as spare part. Maybe some pieces can be saved for other monitors to resurrect.

Thanks at all,

Reynolds
