Would High Density Chinon FB-357A Floppy work with A4000T

A friend will sell me his HD drive from his A4000D. He told me A4000T's are picky about high density drives. My 4000T is an Escom built one. Will it work? I'll send him the DD one I have.

If it doesn't work, you can always modify the machine back to it's original state accept Amiga drives.

At least the Escom A1200s just have a wire connecting 2-34 on the underside of the floppy connector.

I have no idea how to modify. Should I modify the cable or the mainboard?

I think it depends on if it has the little adapter card between the ports module and the floppy cable
If you have you are using a PC floppy which the adapter is for so I guess you can remove it and use a real DD/HD Amiga floppy
