Manuals and Links
Some people in IRC were saying today about how good AmigaMOS was, and as I feel I need to do SOMETHING which is remotely useful for the Amiga community, I thought I may as well continue on where they left off in regards to their links and manuals section.
I already have a links section up with 76 site links, so expanding that shouldn't be a problem, and I am going to start setting up the manuals section tommorow. So basically, I need people to do a few things if possible. Firstly, I need links to Amiga sites of any variety, excluding the ones currently on this page - http://atomnet.co.uk/amiga/?p=links And secondly, I need people to send me manuals for anything and everything, games, software, hardware etc (all Amiga, obviously). Regarding getting the files to me, the easiest thing to do if just e-mail them to me at ben@atomnet.co.uk - Please try to note who converted or wrote them out as well so they can be credited on the site. Any ideas or such? |

But as I said in IRC:
To be honest, I'm not really interested into turning my site into a topsites hub because those were always generally misleading through the top scorers, so I think I will just stick to the informative side of it. There really aren't any/many competing sites out there now to need one either. The only ones left (bar a select few) aren't maintained or are just dormant. AmigaMOS was basically a topsite with useful resources. I aim to have the resources without the topsite aspect (there are plenty of topsites around anyhow). |

Ok Enverex this is my last try to be useful
I put on my glasses , I've looked carefully you seem to be missing a link to http://www.amigasource.com
Now maybe its not on your list since the owner last updated in january of this year. It does seem to have a large precentage of active links & I know the owner has been onto EAB about it being linked to Amiga sites before Sorry if I've wasted your time again by misundrstanding your request like I care I do have manuals for both hardware & software games & applications , obviously as yet I DON,T own a scanner is it worth me seeing what you don't have yet ? |

Come on people. I now have 3 manuals up at - http://atomnet.co.uk/amiga/?p=manuals - but I need more! The design may not be perfect at the moment (any ideas appreciated if you think the manual bits could be layed out better) but the display doesn't matter, as all this gets entered into the database so it doesn't matter how it looks, it is easy to manipulate.

So you could OCR them, but I was really going for the pre-written ones first, to save people writing/scanning them all in if its already been done. |

I,ll search on line databases for copies already available in that format .
It wasn't presnted that simply when you first asked & is maybe why you got so few answers . Hopefully now you should get a bigger response |
