Arcade games suck even more than consoles when it comes to these setting options Since you will use the setting regardless of what I say, it's now autofire time! Since there's no autofire power-up in the game we will have the same rule as the Super League. No autofire power-up = autofire allowed.
NO OTHER BUTCHERING WITH DIP SWITCHES OR WHATEVER ALLOWED! @Akira Wimps, aren't they? I will still play it as if I would go to the arcades, throw in a coin and play till I'm busted |

Its not cheating, its the smart way to do it! Ther main issues with this game is you must continuusly press the fire button, you cant even hold it down for slow fire! Quote:

Changing a game in any way to make it easier for the player is called cheating. The head of the competition has allowed your cheating, I am no one, just voicing my opinion. The smart way to do anything is the right way, not the easy one |

Can we stop these tedious options discussions now please? I hope over time we can get all these things sorted (still first round on MAME) before we start a round. Btw : The rules linked in the first post say '...such as the banning of autofire if it is a power-up within the game'. So it was allowed without discussing it here anyway. Mainly pointed at Akira

Quickly mashing the same button over and over again requires no skill. It's also healthy for neither your controller nor your sinews...
We're not playing for money here. The competitions should be fun. Of course every form of cheating is forbidden - except autofire which we had a poll about (14:1 votes for it I think). I also don't think we should allow it for some platforms while not for others. |

Less enemies in the C64 version Took me a few tries to adopt to the number of enemies, but still this is a piece of cake compared to Gigawing or Raiden (I really tried it... ). Looking forward to your first score mate
