German Keyboards

Hi, sorry I'm not sure where to post this.

A few years ago I bought a (I think) German A500 so I could replace the keyboard in my English A500. I loved the German A500 so much I decided to use that instead as it had a nice red power LED and the keyboard was completely differently to the "light" English one, it felt heavy, solid, and had a fantastic feel to it.

Since I've been digging all of my machines out it seems that someone has broken my beloved German keyboard, some keys are snapped off and lost forever.

Any ideas where I could get a replacement keyboard like that again? I'm not completely sure what I would be looking for, does anyone know what I am on about? Was it German, can you confirm the very different build quality and feel of the two? I would just like to know what I am looking for exactly before shelling out my hard earnt.

Cheers,
Al

Thank you, bugger though, it says the keyboard is defective.

So has anyone hear tried the German keyboards Vs euro ones? They really are lovely quality things.

Not really. The seller says, he isn´t able to test it. That´s why he´s selling it AS defective.

Another good place to get German Amiga Hardware is http://www.a1k.org/.
Its a German Amiga Forum with many Collectors / Traders / Experts.
You can post at the 'International Section' or 'Kleinanzeigen' (that's buy/sell).
A500 are not rare in Germany.
