Question Terry’s Big Adventure

Does anyone know whether Shades’ Terry’s Big Adventure was ever released on Amiga? Terry’s is a little horizontal scrolling platformgame that was published late 1989 on C64. In an advert for the game (see pic below) it is stated an Amiga version also exists.

Amiga Terry

Thanks for uploading the game, Cody.
If it plays as good as its C64 counterpart I'll be over the moon.
Honestly I didn't expect Terry's was released on Amiga since I never saw a screenshot of this game in any mag.

Strange. The screenshot images on the advertisement are too dark for anyone to have an idea about the game. Maybe it's a problem about the scan but not with the original ad. And why the lowly ST screenshots?

Arrow Bad ads

Burseg,
It is not a bad scan. The original advert is just badly printed. On the same page Shades advertised another game called Trivia which is as dark.

By the way, does anyone know Trivia on Amiga?

Hehe...I remember downloading this game back in 1989 - I thought it was complete rubbish and not even as good as PD stuff I was getting. I don't think it's TOSEC-recognized yet, but I can spin up my copy. At least on the Amiga, the full title is "Trivia - The Ultimate Quest", but it is indeed the same game because the screens are identical to the ones in the ad (well, they are brighter ) and it is published by Grandslam, who also published Terry's Big Adventure on the Amiga in 1989.

Smile Shades games

Thanks for uploading Trivia, Twistin. It is another game I never was quite sure about it ever existed. What surprises me is the actual size of the game: 324 Kb seems a lot for such a basic program. -I guess the cracktro by Ikari takes up most discspace.

Oh, yesterday I have tried Terry's Big Adventure in WinFellow. It seems the scrolling in this game skips a few frames. Terry's is exactly like its C64 counterpart except for a different in-game tune. Even the graphics look like they have come from the C64 but playability is still top-notch.

Yeah, I always liked this game, despite its similarities to Mario. Some people think the game is rubbish, though.

When I first saw this game I also thought this game is rubbish, until I started playing it and I was addicted.
