Apple taking forever to upgrade their hardware, remind you of Commodore days?

It seems Apple is taking forever to upgrade their hardware and developers and users are very pissed.

Does it remind you of the days of Commodore when they milked the Amiga's design but took forever to make any hardware upgrades if ever. Commodore was distracted by trying to be a PC company and corruption, Apple is distracted by record iPhone sales.

I don't care very much about the hardware aspect, the shit works and it works well.

What I do care about is the just really shoddy material that modern macbooks are made out of. The tiniest of bumps and it is damaged. They used to be sturdy machines, the 2015 macbook pro's are really good and I'd buy one today if I came across a good refurbished one. But the 2016/2017 models... looks over quality.

And don't get me started on the retarded touch bar.

Can hardly be compared to Commodore. An old Mac will easily outperform the average PC, the OS is simply amazing.
