Thanks for all your help, i used winrar and extracted the files...... It all went over my head when i first looked at the txt files but I think i can make sense of it all now, only one of the txt files was needed, not sure what the other files were for?
Anyway I also managed to get my A1200 sorted thanks to DDNI suggesting that i go to maplins and get a disk drive cleaner! I would never usually bother getting a cleaner but the floppy disk ones actually work unlike those rip-off CD/DVD ones (I was prepared to dismantle my drive....for no reason!!). Im gonna try these codes in a bit, thanks again for your help people |

Total Commander Ultima Prime, a bit offtopic
TheCyberDruid, download Total Commander Ultima Prime 4.6 from http://tcup.pl/index.php?l=en
Here's some info: Total Commander Ultima Prime is a collection of the software and customized settings sets gathered in one installation package for enhancing Total Commander (file manager) possibilities. Our project differs from official distribution provided by Christian Ghisler on www.totalcmd.com site. If you’d like to see and try our solution, you can download it from our servers and discuss about it on our forum’s board. We provide our customization work as freeware in the form as it is but please remember, that Total Commander itself is distributed as shareware. Please keep in mind, that other contained applications licenses might differ and not be proper for commercial purposes too. Detailed descriptions of the software can be found on the forum board. I have registrated mine version and i can't be without it now. |

Forgive my ignorance - is the codewheel ONLY for the OCS edition?
I assume that at no point the codes are asked for on AGA, even when it's installed to hard drive? |

Haha. I wasn't asking because I wanted to try it! Just wanted to make sure that version didn't need to be cracked

No idea mate, it's a game I've never owned physically.
I do know several games used the same codes for all versions, OCS, ECS, AGA, also including DOS, Windows and presumably other formats too. Megafortress is one such title, it uses the same codes for the Amiga and PC versions. Wouldn't surprise me if this one did too. |

Eeep - it does seem that the AGA version (uncracked and HDD installed) requires the codewheel.
Not sure if it's possible to simply swap out the "SHADOW_run" file or the "dsk0" file with a cracked copy to run it from HDD? It doesn't seem like any of the TOSEC cracks are advertising that they're HD installable. Edit: Notably, the "dsk" files seem to be byte-for-byte identical between the CD32 and AGA HDD installable editions. Which suggests the code wheel is indeed in the SHADOW_run file Last edited by earok; 03 March 2019 at 12:08. |
