I read amazing posts for games that I have never played on the Atari ST Console when I had one. But now I get some nostalgic and I'm in a good plan to instal Atari Emulator and to download some good old Atari ST ROMs and to start playing. The first game that I will play will be Rick Dangerous my favorite.

Why would you play the Atari ST version over the Amiga version, surely the Amiga version is superior?

I don't know which one is superior but I played that game years ago and I want to play it now, maybe later I will explore some Amiga games too.

My favorite was the custom character set port as the graphical version zoomed in the display too much IMHO.

Omega is also probably one of the best rogue-likes ever made, with an incredibly deep magic/religion/guild system and character customization, on the level of much later advanced versions of Nethack, coupled with an overworld only rivaled by ADoM. It was good stuff but had serious balancing issues and early-game grief that turned a lot of people off.

The Atari ST version won't be too bad as it's just vertical scrolling and 16 colours. Atari should be able to do that easily.

None of the Telarium games were available on Amiga, were they? I played them all on C64 and never saw Amiga versions.
