X-Surf 100 Poor Performance?

Using the 060-66 and OS3.2+Easynet Pro or OS3.9+Genesis, I get less than 50kb/sec. Using 604e 400 and Os4.1FE, I get around 200kb/s~250kb/s downloading from Turran FTP.

Is there any trick to increase speed?

That speed is tragic! I can get 4+ MB/s out of mine!
You have it running in ZIII mode, right?
What does AmiSpeedTest show as the download and upload speeds?

wget http://ipv4.download.thinkbroadband.com/20MB.zip
15:31:19 (504.61 KB/s) - `20MB.zip' saved [20971520/20971520]

My A4000 (050-50) is connected to the internet via a wifi bridge.
I'm running RoadShow.

I assume Wrangler means 4 megabits which is 500 kilobytes, so the same as me.

Yes, megabits per sec. I should have written Mb/s

Tried it using AmigaOS 4.1

Code:
Finding closest server...

   Country: Turkey
      City: Izmir
    Server: Turkcell

Starting download test...

    100 kB in 0.340 secs = 2348 kb/s
    500 kB in 0.320 secs = 12485 kb/s
   2500 kB in 1.541 secs = 12976 kb/s
   7500 kB in 4.294 secs = 13970 kb/s
  11250 kB in 6.437 secs = 13981 kb/s
  16875 kB in 9.688 secs = 13933 kb/s
  25312 kB in 14.797 secs = 13684 kb/s

Average download speed = 13690 kilobit/s

Starting upload test...

    100 kB in 0.127 secs = 6277 kb/s
    600 kB in 0.442 secs = 10843 kb/s
   3000 kB in 1.908 secs = 12573 kb/s
   9000 kB in 5.518 secs = 13046 kb/s
  13500 kB in 8.234 secs = 13115 kb/s
  20250 kB in 12.629 secs = 12827 kb/s

Average upload speed = 12875 kilobit/s

Done!
And this is using AmigaOS 3.2

Code:
Connecting to AmiSpeedTest server...

Finding closest server...

   Country: Turkey
      City: Izmir
    Server: Turkcell

Starting download test...

    100 kB in 0.258 secs = 3093 kb/s
    500 kB in 1.0 secs = 3999 kb/s
   1750 kB in 3.388 secs = 4131 kb/s
   3062 kB in 5.984 secs = 4093 kb/s
   4593 kB in 8.849 secs = 4152 kb/s
   6889 kB in 13.242 secs = 4161 kb/s

Average download speed = 4130 kilobit/s

Starting upload test...

    100 kB in 0.277 secs = 2879 kb/s
    500 kB in 1.248 secs = 3204 kb/s
   1750 kB in 4.163 secs = 3362 kb/s
   2625 kB in 6.208 secs = 3382 kb/s
   3937 kB in 9.339 secs = 3372 kb/s
   5905 kB in 13.986 secs = 3377 kb/s

Average upload speed = 3365 kilobit/s

Done!
BTW, I meant 50 kilobytes per second. Not kilobits.

I just removed a jumper from XSurf100. It probably was running in Z2 mode.

50 kB/s = 400 kb/s. But your AmiSpeedTest results say 4130 kb/s download (similar to Wrangler). So is Turan FTP the bottleneck? I’m assuming that’s an FTP client.
