Thumbs up AMIGA ALPE ADRIA 2003.. Anyone here Going To be there ?

Dear Customer and Amiga Friend,

As you probably heard from the Amiga press, Cloanto in Italy is organizing an Amiga event on Saturday, July 5th. Amiga Alpe Adria 2003 (http://aaa2003.org) will be held in beautiful Udine, between the Alps and the sea near Venice, and will showcase not only the latest Amiga developments (e.g. Amiga OS 4.0, AmigaOne PowerPC hardware, etc.), but also a lot of Commodore-Amiga classics, from rare hardware and videos to demos, to some of the people who made it all possible.

Special guests and exhibitors well-known by emulation enthusiasts include Ralf "Hippie2000" Steines of Back 2 the Roots (http://www.back2roots.org), James Maurice "JayBee" Battle of AIAB fame (http://aiab.emuunlim.com) and Jens Schönfeld, who will present the C-One (http://c64upgra.de/c-one/). And of course you will have a chance to meet some of your friends at Cloanto. We look forward to experiencing friendship as a big theme at the event, with visitors coming not only from neighboring countries (Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy), but also from as far away as Australia (we were quite amazed to hear about two gentlemen who just registered from down under without even knowing about each other).

While in Udine you can enjoy some great local food and wine ("vino"), and exciting cultural events ranging from reggae and folk music festivals to a Kandinsky exhibit by the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, all taking place during the July 5th week-end. If you are interested in attending we recommend that you get ready now in order to take advantage of the inexpensive airline offers which are still available. Return tickets from London, Frankfurt, Brussels and several other cities start from less than 60.00 euros (or dollars).

Read more about Amiga Alpe Adria 2003 and nearby attractions and events at http://aaa2003.org.

It sounds like the business.

An Amiga conference in a really scenic location

Got the email the other day and thought "I wish I had won the national lottery", with time and money on my hands it would be a great event to visit.

Will there be any pictures/write-ups?
