Exclamation Track Editor: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge

First of all: I haven´t really tested it. I´ve just started it (A500) and it seemed to work.

In the early 90s a guy called "badcat" has written a track editor for Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge. Now it´s online.
Further details are there:

http://www.amigaemuboard.net/forum/v...php?f=3&t=3522

(German)

Downloadable at the bottom of the thread:

- editor
- manual (German)
- manual (English...worse than mine though )

Looks promising. But - as already mentioned - I´ve just startet it, did a few things but did not complete or even save and test a track.

Btw. If this has already been posted before please don´t kill me. I´ve honestly used the button "search".

I moved the manuals to my manual website.

Look here: http:/amiga-manuals.npage.de

Direct links:

English manual: http://amiga-manuals.xiik.net/other/...Manual-ENG.pdf

German manual: http://amiga-manuals.xiik.net/other/...0Manual-DE.pdf

The Editor itself will not moved.

Cheers Josh

The manuals you will find in the category "Other"

Fascinating stuff, it's really one of those things where I wonder how they did it back in the day.

I wonder if there are pseudo 3D racers where the tracks were just hardcoded rather than built with an editor. I'm thinking Street Rod maybe because it had only the one.

Even though it only had one presumably they spent a lot of time tweaking it during the development process to get it right so some kind track editor world still have been beneficial for development
