Track Editor: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge
First of all: I haven´t really tested it. I´ve just started it (A500) and it seemed to work.
In the early 90s a guy called "badcat" has written a track editor for Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge. Now it´s online. Further details are there: http://www.amigaemuboard.net/forum/v...php?f=3&t=3522 (German) Downloadable at the bottom of the thread: - editor - manual (German) - manual (English...worse than mine though ) Looks promising. But - as already mentioned - I´ve just startet it, did a few things but did not complete or even save and test a track. Btw. If this has already been posted before please don´t kill me. I´ve honestly used the button "search". |

I moved the manuals to my manual website.
Look here: http:/amiga-manuals.npage.de Direct links: English manual: http://amiga-manuals.xiik.net/other/...Manual-ENG.pdf German manual: http://amiga-manuals.xiik.net/other/...0Manual-DE.pdf The Editor itself will not moved. Cheers Josh |

Fascinating stuff, it's really one of those things where I wonder how they did it back in the day.
I wonder if there are pseudo 3D racers where the tracks were just hardcoded rather than built with an editor. I'm thinking Street Rod maybe because it had only the one. |
