Storm C V4

Hi,

I recenlty brought a copy of Storm C V4 which I've installed on my 1200 but I'm having trouble doing anything productive with it. Although I know C++ well, I'm used to IDE's like Visual Studio 6 (PC) and the Storm C IDE is very different. For example I can't even get the 'HelloWorld' example to compile and run

Can anyone help or show we where I can find some documentation, thanks

I will second this request. I used to program a little with StormC 4 on my Amiga 4000 years ago, but it is in storage some 100 plus miles away now that I have moved. I bought a second copy of StormC 4 and I am trying to use it on UAE with no luck. When I try to compile/make nothing happens.

OK I was able to get mine up and running. I could not just start with the editor. I had to open a new project first. 4th icon from the left. The one with the computer and piece of paper. Pick a directory to store your project and give it a name. Make sure to click "OK". It will tell you various files do not exist and offer to create them for you. Then it opens a new window with Docs, Sources, Libraries ect. Double click on your newly created .c file and the editor opens up. Now you can do your "Hello World" or what have you and the compiler will work. I hope this helps you too.

I also found this Storm Archive on my travels...

And I found that I needed to install 'ixemul.library' to get it to compile.
