Can't remember name of my favorite mod player
Way back in the way back I used to use a teeny tiny little mod player that played things correctly. I just got back into Amigaing and discovered that Hippoplayer fails at PT-mods (notably KLISJE.MOD)
Anyway, it had a very small interface, anyone take any stabs at what it might have been? Didn't require much resources either. |

Oh i remember that mod, for sure i have it somewhere on my hd.
You may have a look here if you find your small player : http://aminet.net/mus/play Oddly, i tried Hippo (albeit an old version, 1.14) and it played fine... Perhaps you could specify how it failed ? But if the only thing you want is to play mods correctly, try DeliTracker. And don't try PC players, they're all buggy in some way or another. If you think the replay fails starting at 3:08 then i'm afraid it's just the mod, which was previously very good, that starts to suck here |

I did finally figure it out. The mod player which actually plays this mod correctly is intuitracker.
The feature comes around segment 30 or 31. The mod goes very slow. And it seems like the song sucks, right? Wrong. Almost every mod player sucks. Setting tempo to 00 is supposed to reset the tempo to the last tempo used. ISTR that MED got this right. There is a patched version of the mod floating around which plays correctly in every player but I still use it as a test to see if a player works correctly. Almost none of them do... |

Doesn't appear to be the case...
First, this isn't the proper way to interpret F00 command. Second, what this mod does is setting tempo to 32 (aka F20), which is mismatched by Protracker players because it's interpreted as BPM. But DT2 doesn't get caught. And if i accelerate it at that part, it still sucks I'm speaking of the module as found here : https://modarchive.org/index.php?req...id&query=47057 |
