Photos and/or measurements of Amiga 500
I started modelling an Amiga 500 in Maya and was wondering if any of you that still have the beast could take some hires photos and some measurements?
This is what I got so far. You can see my other work here: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=33956 |

Nice pictures, so you just need to adjust the logo (as the 500 dont say 500 as the plus version do) (This picture is not mine)

Excellent photos! Just what I need... so was the logo the only visible difference between the 500 and 500+?

the edges are a bit too "edgy" (and shows even more on the buttons) you probably already know |

Yeah I know they are too sharp, I'm justing blocking out and get the proportions right first... detailiing comes later.
Here's some more progress. |

Looking good bLAZER (really good in fact)! Maybe try making it a bit thicker for a more authentic feel.

5h00n4y, I can assure you that the next version won't be the final... unless I wait 2 months before I post it
ppill, yeah I think it looks a bit thin aswell, but when I looked at reference photos I couldn't find anything wrong... might be the camera angle... I'll have it in mind though. NLS, A1200? How come... yeah, they have the same keyboard... |

It was indeed too thin - now the proportions are much better.

Looks much much better, tho the cursor keys still look kinda different :/
Not to mention [Return] ---=== EDITED ===--- Did you count the number of those detailed "cut-in's" on the back of the Amy and reconstructed those? |

Looks really good.
I'm sure the distance between the front and the space bar was bigger, and the thing was more rounded. |

Thanks dudes!
Killergorilla, then space between the space bar and the front match up my reference images fine... and yes, everything (except the keys) are at this moment razor sharp and should be rounded later. |
