...was a bit bored this morning so ended up modifying the .ADF that I made in post #8: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=1109197&postcount=8
Now before starting any of the 3 options you will see the "ECRAN_SELECTION.IFF" image Press <Esc>, <Enter>, <Space> or <Left Mouse Button> to exit. New .ADF uploaded to the usual places |

In WinUAE or on a real Amiga?
You need to use a "Quickstart A1200 - 2MB Chip & 4MB Fast RAM" configuration due to the size of the files being extracted into RAM |

Heya dlfrsilver,
Did you manage to get this working in the end by making sure you are either: a) using WinUAE with a "Quickstart A1200 - 2MB Chip & 4MB Fast RAM" configuration. b) using a real A1200 with atleast these RAM specs. I had one of my friends test on his real A1200 and all worked perfectly, plus I've tested countless times in WinUAE so all should be good |

i guess it was a memory parameter problem It's good now
I'm going to write a message to Guillaume Werlé on Twitter, as well as tried to contact The musician as well, in order to ask him if he has all the musics for this "game". CFOU will also call me this week |

While looking at some of the screenshots Denis posted in the archive + looking at available disks in TOSEC, I noticed that my custom disk didn't have all available material...
So, I've now created a 3 disk set with everything "Basket Island" included New additions to this are as follows: a) Music now added to both "Game1" & "Game3". I got this from these TOSEC disks: ... Basket Island - Demo 1 (demo-playable) (200x)(Syndrome)(AGA).adf ... Basket Island - Demo 2 (demo-playable) (200x)(Syndrome)(AGA).adf b) Slideshow added which I got from this TOSEC disk: ... Basket Island - Sliding Preview (demo-slideshow) (200x)(Bad Karma)(AGA).adf c) Using Mostra, set up another slideshow which shows all the cool courts detailed in this post. You can find the new set in The Zone! and also on the EAB file server under the directory "~Uploads/DamienD/HD INSTALL --> ADFS" |

By the way guys; there's some extra stuff you can do with Game1 & Game3
Game1 uses these files: ... background01.dat ... mask-sand.dat ... team01.dat ... team07.dat Game2 uses these files: ... background03.dat ... mask_water_1.dat ... mask_water_2.dat ... team03.dat ... team05.dat In the archive Denis got hold of there are these extra files not in any TOSEC disk or the WHDLoad version: Game1's screen looks like this originally: ...but by renaming "team02.dat" --> "team01.dat" & "team08.dat" --> "team07.dat" we now have: I also tried with the renaming "background02.dat" --> "background01.dat" but the best I can get is: Anyway, one of you talented coders should look into this further |

I have transfered the development hard drive (A1200 HDD) of the guys behind this title.
But yes, it would be cool if any talented coder could finish this game Last edited by DamienD; 16 April 2017 at 11:55. Reason: Snipped the quoted post Denis as no need for double images ;) |

Sprites / masks / images / layouts / tactics / diagrams / information files etc... All the backgrounds are in "BISLAND_ASSETS\2.DECORS". These images are cool also: There has to be enough stuff for someone interested to try to put the game together. |

There are so many more s2325, just download "MANYK_BASKET ISLAND AGA_PC_ASSETS.7z" from the EAB File Server under "TheZone/files"
To make it easy for people to view images on a Windows computer and without a program to view .IFF files; I painstaintly converted all .IFF files --> PNG files keeping the same directory structure as the original archive, see this post. The file is also in under "TheZone/files" and named "Basket Island - BISLAND_ASSETS [IFF to PNG] [...for clenched].rar" |
