Connecting Amiga HD to PC (again)

Hi,

I am runnig Win UAE on my Laptop, but I wuld like to connect my Amiga HD to it.
I have read other posts which tell you to connect the drive to an IDE port on your PC then click the "Add HardDrive" button, but I can't do that as I have no IDE ports, so I am using a USB drive caddy.
Vista can see the drive in admin tools, but in Win UAE the "Add HardDrive" button is grayed out.

Does WinUAE recognise drives connected in this way, and if not is there a work round?

Cheers

Greg
