Review: Digigear SD to Compact Flash adapter

Hey guys.

Just posted up a review of the Digigear SD to compact flash adapter on Youtube. I tested in on my A600 in both the PCMCIA slot (via PCMCIA to CF adapter) and internally on the IDE bus.

Came up with some very interesting results.

Nice info! This kind of questions tend to come more often than not among us all!
I'm more of a SD guy than a CF !

Yeah, I'm quite pleased with the performance. Ordering a couple more for my other machines. Need to test it in my A1200 as it has a FastATA interface in it.

Possibly, but it will probably only support FAT. Aminet mirror maybe :-)

These WIFI-SD cards are pretty cool. They actually run Linux on an embedded ARM chip. Some of them are hackable and people have got shell access. I wonder if it's possible to create a PPP internet connection via the IDE port...
