No more ROM downloads from EmuParadise
Whilst the stuff they had is almost certainly available elsewhere, it was a very useful site for looking for the odd ADF without wading through the gigabytes of TOSEC.

No great loss. Planetemu is a far better site in my opinion.

Disagree, emu paradise had Isos that are fairly hard to come by without torrenting, planet emu is literally an out of date tosec repository

Not if you actually try to download one. They are off.
But there are enough sites for Roms and ISOs. Also a lot of Full Set uploads in different forums (no torrents). Edit: Ah, some stuff like Computer games is still online. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 10 August 2018 at 18:42. |

All thanks to Joe Public deciding that retro-gaming is cool. If only the sheeples could stick to their iShits and their Bookfaces and leave our geeky hobbies alone.

I have all the ROMs I need for Nintendo systems. Well you know Nintendo is hostile to all sites hosting their ROMs. This isn't something new. I think there was some talk about Nintendo threatened that site but they ignored Nintendo so maybe now things are more serious.

All about money as the BBC article sort of mentions.....
"Nintendo is launching a subscription service for its latest Switch console in September, which will include access to some of its retro titles." |

Bad thing is that emuparadise had some rare stuff I couldn't find (easily) elsewhere as dos games and some Japanese titles. All in one place, now probably would have to look here and there to download this and that.

Good thing I bought a microSD card (for my Retropie) that's loaded with 100,000+ roms for 40 consoles including C64 and Amiga.
I extracted the roms and archived them. [ Show youtube player ] |
