Star Trek PD game
Is there a WHDLoad for the 2-disc Public Domain game 'Star Trek', by Tobias Richter?
Strange request, maybe, but it's a game I used to love playing... even if I never completed more than 2 missions! |

Not sure if i could write such a tutorial atm. long ago codetapper was showing me how to get going with whd installs. i can get things to run, maybe even fix the odd passoce protection, but im not able to easily fix problems. Ive lost alot of my templates too which is annoying. codetapper/wepl/psygore/girv/cfou are probably best suited to such a task and i belive there is one on ct's action site. jeffs slave downloads are also a good source as the sources are usualy included.
I left the source files in the upload as its quite generic so should be easy for a skilled slaver to fix up if need be or for anyone to use to try and get there game to run. Last edited by Mad-Matt; 18 February 2007 at 22:26. |

great work...
i found a CD here at home that includes some (or better many !) sources of slaves from Mr.Larmer, Bored Seal, Mick and Harry. Don´t ask where i got the CD from. I don´t remember myself... but if anyone is interested... |

if nobody of the authors have a problem with it....
ok, we can´t ask Mr. Larmer anymore ( ) but perhaps wepl could decide about it. Mick already give his permission.... Bored Seal and Harry...we should contact both... |

This is copyrighted material. Owned by their respective authors. You are neither allowed to own nor to distribute this! There are sources for slaves and imagers in the WHDLoad and many install packages. So its also absolutely obsolete to offer this. |

Aha cool, I was just reminded the other day of the old board game Star Fleet Battles and was thinking it would make a great amiga game, a little bit like FTL. I wasn't aware of any Trek games except the AGA 25th anniversary one, one of those PD games might fit the bill as those articles talk of tactical combat games.

Just by any chance, does anybody know where I could locate a copy of the 1986 Robert Hardy's text adventure mentioned in pages 1/2? -- |
