performance issues in some games?!

Hi. does anyone know why I can play a game such as Fightin' Spirit and more or less any other games but when I go to play Shadow Fighter CD32 (with fps boost cheat) and the AGA version of Aladdin the games cpu speed goes to 99? The game starts to slow and it starts crackling.
I can mess around with options within Winuae and although this improves matters it generally makes the games unstable.
Any insight into why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
My specs:
WinXP
P4 2.8Ghz
Nvidia FX5600
1Gig Ram

latest Winuae and latest DX etc

here for me fightin' spirit and aladdin work really great no problem.. i can't test cd32 stuff.. what is your winuae config in a1200 ?

It’s ok now Sink. I posted this question over at LemonAmiga aswell and I got a tip to turn off Exact Cycle in chipset. It fixed all my problems with the aforementioned games.

Normally this wouldn’t be a problem with my better PC, but while I’m away I’m temporarily using some old £60 P4 pile of junk I found on ebay. It struggles from time to time with Winuae unfortunately
