I am back with new version of slave for Atlantyda. In the Zone there is beta version. Now is possible to finish game - I tested and the goal is to collect 160 diamonds. Of course I cheated (temporary set amount of collected diamonds to 1) to check if game ending will works with newest slave (previous version of slave for sure do not work with game ending).
Following things are fixed:
- silly protection removed (right mouse button then press fire).
- second protection removed in room with numbers.
- fixed incorrect diwstrt and diwstop (now game area is centered as should be)
- trap #1 changed into jsr and rte --> rts
- fixed end of VERTB int
- fixed blitterwaits
- fixed snoop errors (move.b #0,$dff0a8 --> move.w #0,$dff0a8)

Note for disk floppy players.
I checked also all found "cracked" version of Atlantyda and it seems that only first protection was removed. Mean there is no 100% cracked version of Atlantyda.

Edit: I didn't check but this slave should work with these semi cracked versions.

Looks like this is one of the games for my collection in which I'll have to use the WHDLoad version for; considering there are no perfect disk versions available

I didn't test alpha version but since it's beta right now. I recently played this game from original disk (works fine on A1200 with EC030) that's why I refreshed this topic.

@Asman; just tried your latest "Atlantyda WHDload version 1.0 Beta" from The Zone! in a Classic Workbench 3.1 Lite .HDF and a bare-bones .HDF.

...with both, I received this error after the first screen:



Any ideas?

Ok, worked out what the issue is... I pressed <Right Ctrl> to skip the first screen; thinking I'd mapped "Port 2 = Keyboard Layout B" as I usually do...

Also, if I press <Right Ctrl> or <Left Ctrl> during any screen "not when playing", this error will also occur.

This has a completely different CRC32 to the other 4 posted here.

This "new" disk has CRC32 = 0B260F27

...unfortunately it still has the same bad stuff as detailed here:

That's strange. I have full game with box and small manual. Polish games usually does not have disk protections. The only games with disk protection I know are Forest Dump Forever and Dreenshar.

- Possible doscopy on NoDOS disk! Type DiskCopy WB2.1+ (sector 880 with 28 bad bytes)

just 28 bytes overwritten by Doscopy on NDOS disk, as said, looks like the fault of the publisher, since no dump surfaced without this issue!

@mai - Can you provide all exact offsets in sector 880 which are "bad".
As fas as I checked following offsets are safe - game overwrite some bytes after loading game data.

Sector 880 offsets (decimal):
9,10,11,13,14,15
17,18,19 21,22,23
25,26,27, 29,30,31

Furthermore I need icons for this game (normal, newicon, coloricon). Any volunteer ?

Damiano if it could be useful, with WHDLoad 18.0 [build 5614] (04.12.2014) it does not seem there are no errors, your problem is present on all previous and subsequent versions 18.0

N.B. with WHDLoad 18.0 the error occurs if about the game if you press any key

20, 21, 22, 23 = valid checksum for block 880 - good rootblock checksum on NDOS disk is suspicious!
