Req: Battle Squadron intro disk?
Hi, years ago I had Battle Squadron and Im sure it was a 2 disker and the disks were one for game and the other was the intro and I can vaguely remember the hand drawn B&W intro.
While the game is very common I have never seen the intro available, so has anyone got this to share? vertigo |

Battle Squadron is in CAPS, although perhaps you were talking about the old 0.07 tosec dat.
Anyway Battle Squadron is only 1 disk (I dumped it myself) and it does have the black & white intro. I'd post it in the zone if I was allowed. |

Thanks for the info and download, jeezz my memory must be getting worse, I really thought there was just an intro floppy as well as the game, maybe its because the version adf I have only seems to show the game, I never seen the intro on it, I will try the one from the zone and see if its any different.
thanks again vertigo |

Yes. It took me 10 years to notice that the Amiga version also had the cool intro that the Mega-Drive version has.
I would always say "The Amiga version is much better, but the Mega-Drive version has an intro" Until someone pointed me how stupid I was |

Well It seems the ADF I have by Freestyle does not have the intro unlike the one in the zone by captain paranoia which does, so I can only assume thats why I always thought it was 2 Disks I had years ago and I did have the original.
I also find it strange that someone else had the same 2 disk opinion from Kodoichi's link in the forum. I would not have guessed there would have been a thread on this subject I thought it was only me who thought about this subject So it seems from opinions and evidence in this and the other thread that there was only one disk, a great history lesson for a Battle Squadron player. Thanks for the other version bobbybearing Now I'll go beat the Barrax Empire.. Thanks v Last edited by vertigo; 26 December 2003 at 12:16. |
