Publisher Logo Remakes
Just thought I'd post this shockingly terrible Hires Team17 Logo that I did over the weekend. Can't understand what possessed me to even contemplate creating something that looks so bad compared to the original
This size cropped for uploading purposes, original size 1680x1050 (16:10) Comments and criticism welcome Next batch can be found in post #3 Last edited by DH; 18 September 2010 at 14:14. |

How about this with blue background, older one? http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?N_ref_publisher=590 Or maybe that one from Team 7 times?

Nice one DH Looks quite close to the original one (as far as I remember, but don't quote me on it ) and the water effect looks cool (again ). Next up DMA Design?

Hehehe!
The flares are missing, I couldn't work out how to blend them in properly using the original colours, then I lost my patience and gave up Edit: I'll be creating a 3D model of the Logo, so watch this space |

Could you upload all these pictures to the Zone in their original sizes? I would like to use them as wallpaper (if you agree to use them that way).

Just a quick update, so far I've re-created the Team17 logo as a vector graphic But..... Although I can get the 'T', 'E', '1' and '7' to work perfectly I'm having loads of trouble with the 'A' and 'M'. It's not how they look, it's the way they behave after I have saved it as an .ai and loaded it up into Zaxwerks, in fact Zaxwerks just crashes.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! I'm hoping to find a solution soon |

These look fantastic!
If you create wallpaper versions, then 1920x1200 or greater would be very much appreciated! |

They already start as wallpaper versions Although I've done them to the size of 1680x1050 but I'm sure I can increase that size without loss of quality. Maybe I should now concentrate on creating these images and wallpapers at the larger sizes, as monitors are increasing in size and resolutions.
