Monopoly (Leisure Genius) - Original release
Does anybody own the game in the box shown on HOL: https://amiga.abime.net/games/view/m...e-genius#scans ?
If so it would be great if an image of the disk could be preserved (and shared) |

@Seiya
I try to explain the problem I have with the Monopoly Data on all Disks. If you look on the ADFs which are saved they all called Monopoly (Leisure Games) some of these are cracked and others are not. BUT !!!! I believe no one has ever looked on these ADFs. There are two different Versions. Monopoly (Leisure Games) I believe is uncracked. This Version is played with US Dollars, up to 8 Players and shows the Monopoly Man in Screen. The Disk is called "Monopoly De Luxe (USA). The Game Datas are from 1991 Monopoly (Leisure Games) SK - cracked by SkidRow This is the same US Version as above. Game Datas also from 1991 Monopoly (Leisure Games) AGL - cracked by Agile This Version is played with british Pounds up to 6 Players and has NO Monopoly Man on the Screen. And Waddington Copyrights added The Disk is called protec The Game Data is also from 1991 SPS-Release Monopoly DeLuxe (Leisure Games) from the Beau Jolly Compilation. This is the same Version played with british Pounds up to 6 Players and has NO Monopoly Man on the Screen. And Waddington Copyrights added Disk is called protec The Game Data is also from 1991 And on the Box of the Compilation stands DeLuxe Monopoly. The HOL pictures of the compilation shows the US Version but it is the british Version in the Box. So all called "Monopoly (Leisure Games Versions)" are called in Discnames "Monopoly De Luxe" (USA) or the protec named Disc is sold as DeLuxe Monopoly. And all Data an All Disks are from 1991. That is the reason why I ask TCD. So far as I found Monopoly Disks I never found a Version which is called just Monopoly like the Game Screen says and I found no Disks which have Game Datas from 1989. All Datas are from 1991. The entry in HOL says that the white Box is published in 1989.!!! The Start screen says also copyright 1989, but I NEVER found a Amiga Disk with Data from 1989. Thats why we are asking for this original Disk from 1989 just called Monopoly. Otherwise thats means to me that the Amiga Version was later released in 1991 and the Box was made before and maybe published before with MS-Dos or so. The US Version was released in the white Big Box, and the british Version as De Luxe Monopoly in a black Box. This Box is not in HOL. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234627415057 If we found a original Disk from 1989 than the Entry in HOL is right and we have to add an Entry for DeLuxe Monopoly with the Black Box. Otherwise there existing no Monopoly just a DeLuxe Monopoly published 1991. And that will explains me why there was no review of Monopoly Leisure Games in 1989/90. The first reviews are all from 1991. |
