Looking for Scavenge - Full Registered Game

Those of you that read my posts will know that I have been hunting for a game called "Scavenge" by James A. Wright... a top down two player shooter game from 1995... DrBong found the Demo version for me and CodyJarrett has provided me with the Amiga Power review of the game (See attached)

I have had no luck contacting the author (my letter to the author's address stated in the Demo disk readme file was returned)

I have posted a video of the game on Youtube [ Show youtube player ] in the hope that someone may remember the game and email me...

So if you registered this game with the author at the time please share...!

Please don't send me the Demo version - I already have this!
If you want to see the Demo please watch the Youtube clip or PM me and I will put an ADF of the Demo in the Zone.

Please search your floppy disk boxes and help me find this game - I will of course share the game with everyone if found.

Please note the reward is no longer given as I am skint these days - thank my ex girlfriend...

I've read before that you tried contacting the author at his old address. Was this a Norwich address by chance?

hmmm why do those graphics look like they were ripped from alien breed, and why is there no HOL entry?

Personally I believe that this is a conspiracy - perpetrated and or penatrated by that murderous simian Killer Gorilla... I saw him on IRC the other day too.... and its clear theres somthing hairy going on.

Maybe there is a reason why it is so difficult to find like the Ghiana sisters game. If anyone at Team17 read the review in AP and saw those pics, I would not be surprised if they asked some Lawyers to take a look.......

I am suprised that 20th Centry Fox didn't ask their lawyers to look at Team 17 to be honest.

Do you mean the Portishead address in Bristol if so that is "Scavenger 2" not Scavenge - it is a different game/author.

Unless you have another address...?

No worries Dave - thanks for taking an interest... incidentally if you haven't played Scavenger 2 yet - you should grab the ADF from the EAB Server PD Games Full versions area - it is a great little game!

I've just tried the demo on my PC - that's how I saw the name and address.

I'll grab it though as I've only got the demo.

Good luck with your hunt

Just wondered if you had made any progress Wasagi...?

Just out of interest - how did you find out that the property had changed hands twice? Can you PM me and let me know please - it may help me in my other searches.
