You seek a specific demo version? <whisper> Or is it just because you are so polite and really want the full version ;-) </whisper>
btw... really a nice game.. i spent quite some hours on it, but didn't manage to get very far though. |

Hmm, it does look quite a lot different to the final release version...
No demo disks on AMR though... |

The screenshots look definetly different from what really is in the game. Maybe this is remake or PC version? Where have you seen this pictures?

Those very pictures are taken from Roman Werner's personal site, and the in-game picture is a scanned photo from a development version, not likely released as a demo.

It's a development version because the final game has different looks and the image filename itself says "TNTEarlyVersion". But hey you're right it could be out there, it's just my assumption it was only intended as feedback to the publisher because I've never heard of a demo.

What is that strange black dot above pirate? Part of the game or dead fly?

Strange version of Starbytes "Traps 'n' Treasures"
Reviving this old thread, since I may have found what OP was looking for, even though it doesn't look like he's a member any more..
I can't find anything else about a this version elsewhere... So today I bought another A500, which came with a handful of copied games... To test it out I just popped in the first game of the stack, "Traps 'n' Treasures" or as the label read "Craps 'n' Creasures" since the origial owner couldn't read the Gothic letter "T" When it had loaded up, i realised it was a completely different version that what I had played before, so maybe a demo or early test/developement version?? I gave it a test play to see what was going on... Here is what I noticed among other things: - Start up with an all new world "The Jungle", and a lot of strange behaviour - No Starbyte logo/presenting - No intro story/ map with boat sailing - Unlimited lives - Jumping in thin air - Strange energy loss bar - 1st, 2nd stage are really short / 3rd stage totally empty - After 3rd stage it just starts over Here are some photos: |
