More OS Friendly Version of BoingBall WB Tool.

is there another program that does the same thing as this program but works with ScreenNotify so the workbench screen can refresh/change properly rather than lock it down and prevent screenmode changes/etc?. I use visualprefs and have a boingball pic top/left in the wb title, then i have the boingball program place a custom animated boingball over the top of the visualprefs static boing image, it all works perfectly, except when a program tries to close the wb screen, it fails due to the boingball program not using ScreenNotify or similar.
