Two WinUAE crashes

I found that WinUAE crashes in following situations

1) Use QS A500 + A590/A2091 SCSI (rev7 ROM), add RDB hardfile on SCSI, prepare it with HDToolbox. 100MB HDF worked fine, 128MB and 150MB crashed when starting formatting the drive. It's the same under 1.3/2.0. Index sd->offset overflows for sd->buffer[] (it was 138000-something) in scsi_send_data() = crash

2) Mount http://aminet.net/util/arc/Zoom_5.4.lha as harddrive and run the self-extracting archive zoom54.sfx. On extracting the third file WinUAE crashes. Problem is the same with OS 1.3 and 3.1. Running from floppydisk or hardrive is fine, so it's a directory/archive harddrive problem. notify_check() gets parameter a as 0 (haven't checked further for cause), so notifyhash(a->aname) leads to a crash.
Edit: Made a mistake: Since archive HD is read-only, the archive has to be unpacked and mounted as directory harddrive

Can't duplicate (tested with basic OS3.1 and AmiKit. CD'd to RAM: and then I run zoom54.sfx, no problems unpacking)

Do you have some utility that uses directory notifications?

Does that mean that you mounted the archive as dh0, cd'd to ram: and used dh0:zoom54.sfx to extract to ram:? That works yes, but writing has to be on directory harddrive for crashing, so either use the archive as dh0 plus directory as dh1, cd to dh1 and run or unpack all to a directory, mount it and run it there.

Confirmed and "fixed" (=increased the size of buffer and added limit check)

I thought the problem was then zoom54.sfx was read from archive (=bug in lha support), not when writing to directory harddrive..

Confirmed now

This was fun..

ACTION_SET_DATE crashed if file didn't exist (bug in notification support code which I added ages ago..)

Zoom54.sfx is also buggy, date setting routine fails if file is in sub directory (for example zoom54.sfx Support/ZoomCheck gets mangled to Support/Support/ZoomCheck) Easy to confirm by unpacking to RAM disk and checking dates.
