WinUAE config for Arkanoid v1.05 - Page 2

Hi guys,

I have got the 1.5v, put it on cycle exact picked 68060, and put it on NTSC, yeah the game has loaded.. But it is WAYYYYY to fast

Any ideas?

Ps: I have no idea really about winuae, just trying as I go!

Try picking 68000 not 68060!

Make sure JIT is disabled. Which it proberly already is, if you selected 68K.
Also try using a quickstart config, i.e. A500.

Hey there think Jit is disabled and with the quickstart I get the orginal authors problem with freezing on the display screen.
?
Approx a500 or a500/a200 cycle exact is match speed?

I've tried dling about 5 of Version 1 and 2 of Arkanoid to test dif ones out all hyper fast! (Dying all over level 1 :P)

What happens if you do quickstart, then turn off cycle exact and set A500 speed under CPU options (instead of "fast as possible, but keep timing")?

Have a look on the EAB file server in 'Commodore_Amiga/TOSEC/Compilations/Games' for the file 'Arkanoid & Arkanoid - Revenge of Doh (1988-12-09)(JCF).7z'.

wow, i didn't know there was a disk containing arcanoid plus additional levels plus arkanoid II on one disk!
is there also a version of this disk available bootable on kickstart >1.3 (such as amiga 600, a-500 plus)?

Ooh I got it working but the bottom of the screen is cut of so can't see where mover is lol

...then this is due to what you've set under the "Display" and / or the "Filter" area.

If I set "720x576":

...then it looks like this for me:

From the look of your screenshot you have "scaling" set...
