Addams Family:
I assume your are sticked with the 040 CPU, right? Use the a 020 CPU with my suggested settings and all is fine. Or you could try Gamebase Amiga, which supports WHDLoad games now, without using the Amiga OS. So there is no need for JIT, RTG, FPU, Z3-Fastram etc. |

Disabling JIT didn't fix the graphic errors for me, strange that it works for you. Edit: But a 020 without JIT is enough to run The Addams family glitch free, no luck with a 040 CPU. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 30 May 2007 at 23:17. |

Because nobody still hasn't replied OPs question (and it has been replied 10+ times already)..
1: real chip ram is relatively slow. this is not emulated in 68020+ modes. 2: 68020+ is emulated as fast as possible. nothing else. 3: 68020+ modes are meant to be fastest possible, 68000 is only about compatibility. 4: JIT is only about speed. 5: (someone may hate me but in my opinion it is whdload "bug" if it hates "too" fast blitter, cpu or chipram, too fast host cpu. of course it could be "real" bug too..) Either you choose compatibility or speed. you can't have both. (and this is why i don't care about whdload problems, especially if the game already works in original format with a500 configuration, also whdload adds yet another "layer" [which is AmigaOS] which makes debugging even more difficult.) |

Thank you all guys!
Now I know how to set up WinUAE correctly to play all my beloved WHD collection. But where can I find the complete doc with all options for uae-configuration tool? Uh, forgot to test Risky Woods that has no sound here... |
