Super Foul Egg remake for Nintendo DS

If you've got a DS and a flash cart, or just a DS emulator, and you're a fan of Super Foul Egg, give this a try:

Hi ant512,

I tried this earlier on my DS (via an R4 Revolution & also CycloDS - worked fine on both).

My Feedback:

It's a nice polished little game and evokes the feel of Super Foul Egg very well. Everything is smooth and responds quickly.

It may just be me being rubbish, but I played on level 0 difficulty and starting height and really struggled to beat the AI opponent!

Also, some in-game music might be nice?

Cheers!

Hmm, my other half had difficulties too when she was testing it. I wonder if I should make the easy game easier?

The sound effects are a big part of the game. I find that I determine what the CPU is doing by listening to the effects played rather than by trying to watch its screen. Music would prevent me from doing that. I suppose I could make it possible to mute the music, but as the original didn't have in-game music either I'll leave it out.

Thanks for your feedback!

Yep. Super Foul Egg was a freeware version of Puyo Puyo released as an Amiga Power coverdisk. Amiga Power requested it as the Amiga didn't have an official version of Puyo Puyo.
