Basically finished in all possible modes! Achivements at 93%
I've just to find out what does it means "finish the game only with fire weapon". I've completed the game twice without shooting any grenade/missile, but no bonus, maybe you mean we don't have to collect any fire improvements and keep the basic one?

Oh, by the way, absolutely great little game, pure gold!
A shame it's so short, it's always great fun playing with it!

I was then able to jump through said hole (thanks to little platform that sticks up) to the other side, but unable to jump back through (it was too high up).

I tried using the high jump trick and ended up stood ontop of the tip of the missile when the game suddenly cut to the ending. Not sure if it ended because the missile was "destroyed" or because I ended up going into the screen (if there is one) above the missile screen.
It seems like there's the same bug on the same level, some screens before.
While I was trying to find some secrets, I managed to climb the mountain you see in the screenshot and it ends abruptly with the ending screen.

93% impressive stuff.
For the "Fire Weapons" achievement. See the readme file on the disk for that one, plus other tips.

Ah another bug found, sorry about that . That is one powerful 'Rock Gun' I have made there.

I've been fixing all theses bugs and holes that you guys have spotted. I'll probably release a 1.30b version sometime at a later date.

Don't fancy re-writing the game I'm hunting for (Scavenge) do you DJC...? :-)

It seems as though the author borrowed most of your samples anyway...

I can dream...

Could you tell us the exact number of game screens, David?

I have a "Mountain Climbing" achievement but still I have no idea what "Star Trekking" is and how to destroy the UFO ship in level 6.

Anyone beat the "Scream time"? I managed to get 1,8 second.

Sorry Peter, you may just have to dream a bit longer.

My "Scream time" is currently: 5.47 (or thereabouts - basically 0.2 seconds short)

Destroying the UFO is easy

No mountain climbing (or atleast not the right mountain!) or Star Trekking for me yet. I have still to complete the game on hard too.

I also was beaten in hard mode, but it was my fault, lack of concentration.

I think I know which star, just haven't got to it yet

DJC it seems that the ending can be accessed by going to non-existant screens (on the last level atleast). On the last level I destroyed the saucer using the normal method and found the hidden area nearby. I then jumped to the left and landed on the left-most missile, walked to the left and then the ending activated.

Also, please see the attached screenshot. I lost a health bonus today, which fell through the platform approximately where he is standing.

I now have achievements at about 50%

Only discovered version 1 of this game yesterday; blew me away. Lost gem! Then today I find this thread and v1.30. Wow! Cutting edge Amiga technology. Keep up the great work Cricky!

Only issue: V1 works fine under WHDLoad, but the new 1.30 has line redraw glitches with my 030, I expect due to caches being enabled. When I walk off screen and back on, these line glitches disappear. Can you fix this for me?

Mountain climbing is easy to do and can be done with no bombs, but for some strange reason the trophy only pops out when you crouch at the right spot - I had actually been doing the mountain climbing achievement many times before I discovered how to make the trophy appear!

My "scream time" is now 0.02 seconds short of the target time and I managed to beat DJC's score on medium deifficulty by 50 points! It's probably easier on hard mode!!

DJC, sorry but I found another bug

If you press "P" it pauses the game. Pressing fire button restarts, no problem there. However if you press "P" say 4 times, then you have to press the fire button 4 times to unpause it - the first 3 times act as a frame-advance function.

Lonewolf, that is a feature, not a bug .

thank you for the compliments .
Line glitches, I've never had that with my game before. Don't know if anybody else has had this? You don't need WHDLoad to run my game, just drag and drop to install.
I'm all out of idea sorry. Maybe you could try running game from a floppy, as maybe you running out of chip memory, but that is just a guess. What is your full System spec just for the record?
If you get it working, please post back to let others know how you fixed it, in case they have same problem.

Shame there's only one page put up so you'll all have to buy the mag to see how it ends

Definitely the best game I've reviewed in three-and-a-half years of writing for the mag - I did your other games too with similar outcomes.
