Pink box around pointer in WinUAE 1.6

I am running WinUAE on my desktop machine (Core2Duo) with ATI Radeon gfx card and it works fine.

I copied the hard file image to my Acer Aspire One Netbook (running Windows 7 RC1) and I noticed the mouse pointer has a pink box around it. It follows the mouse wherever I move it and seems to flicker on and off with disk access and just stays there as a solid pink box (with the pointer on top of it) when the mouse isn't moved.

Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this pink box? I tried a bunch of settings in the config but it did not make a difference (I am using the updated RTG.library)

See attached screenshot. Sorry for the blurriness (iPhone camera sucks), but you get the idea.

Another question:

Is it possible to display the on-screen LED's in FullWindow mode?

How is it possible to increase the buffers of a hardfile? Do you put it in user-startup, like addbuffers dh0: 2048?

thanks,
Darren

I get that on my Vista based laptop but only with Amigasys

It's not there if I use any of the other workbench replacement environments!!

Hmmm...

I'm not using AmigaSys, but my own setup:

OS3.9BB2 + some of the post-BB2 updates like workbench.library, ram-handler...
AFA_OS 4.4, freewheel (for mouse wheel), Executive

Mouse cursor pink rectangle in P96 mode = buggy display driver, directdraw colorkey bug. (Intel Vista driver most likely..)

you can use -ddsoftwarecolorkey command line paramete to fix this issue but it still is display driver bug.
