Just looking to clear enough to buy an ACA630, so if by any slim chance someone here wants it thats £140

Hopefully a collector is willing to pay that, its a lot less than I paid for it thats all I'll say...

Steve.
Just a few hours to go on the Apollo, I've dropped the ebay price. If it don't sell there the EAB price is £125, failing that I be keeping it and forget the ACA idea for now & hope someone sells their 30mhz/64mb ACA630 in a few months

You are so right about the winning is everything and common sense just gets bypassed, I have seen so many people getting involved in bidding wars on ebay. The best of it is, is that when the daft buggers who paid silly money for their stupidity, decide to sell it on, they expect everyone else to pay the same silly price as they did

All I can say is that if someone is stupid enough to pay silly money, it not only affects themselves but also the expected ebay prices of other sellers of similar items. There will always be a similar item popping up in a few days or so, simply ignore the silly priced items or get away from what was a low priced one that is now turning into a bidding war as in that case.

The best of it is, is that the buyer probably didn't really need the board or when he gets it the caps will probably be ready to give up the ghost and need replacing

The seller in this case did everything OK, the buyer though should be sitting in a corner and sobbing his/her little heart out

LMFAO, are those prices from 10 years ago, .
Is this an old Argos catalogue, .

Dont think a Sega GG was sold for £422 when it came out.
I remember asking my dad for one from his shop, but never asked price.

Blizzard PPC 060 rev6 (spares/repairs)

This board will only boot if held in place on the A1200 edge connector. Have tried a number of remedies and now it just has to go:

Have you tried it in a different Amiga to rule out your motherboard? it seems like you've tried everything at the accelerators end.
