Tool to edit an add as file and save with corrected checksum
Is there a Tool to edit an adf as file and once modified save with the correct checksum and so avoid disk errors ?

FileMaster 2.2, if you mean about editing DOS (OFS) disk. DiskEdit option.
Edit. FileEdit option can works too, but this is dependent what you want to make. But of course at first you must wrote adf to RAD or to disk. Last edited by Don_Adan; 05 April 2024 at 19:17. |

Can't you just mount the adf with some tool to edit them? There are some available on Aminet from simple scripts to tools with GUIS and support for more formats. And 3.2 already has build in support to mount adfs with DAControl. And for that there's also DAControlGUI on Aminet so that you don't have to deal with the shell.
It really depends on what you want to install. |

At first I was using a tool but the disk was protected then I mounted it using 3.2 tool and by permitting writing it did the trick. Thanks
